Big Sable Lighthouse Opens for Season
The Big Sable Lighthouse is located inside of the Ludington State Park. It is a two-mile hike out to see the 150-year-old lighthouse and keepers quarters. Guests can explore the downstairs of the quarters, the gift shop and watch a short video about the history of the light. Then climb the 130 stairs to see spectacular views of the State Park and Lake Michigan. Fee to climb the tower is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under; must be 40" tall to climb. Ludington State Park, 8800 W. M-116, Ludington.

Ludington North Breakwater Light Opens for Season
Built in 1924, the Ludington North Breakwater Light has been a beacon to mariners for over 90 years. Open 7 days a week, it features a gift shop and offers a climb of the tower to see a spectacular view of the Ludington Harbor. Admission to climb the tower is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under, must be 40" tall to climb. On the Ludington North Breakwater located off from Stearns Park in downtown Ludington.
